Owner/Operator

ACE Restoration is a full-service restoration company. We specialize in insurance-related restoration and have established ourselves as claim support professionals. We handle claims of all sizes throughout the state of Connecticut. The nature of our business requires our team to be cognizant of the pain and suffering that goes along with the loss of irreplaceable items. While these items may not have monetary value, their worth is beyond measure. We get that. Our goal is always to make the restoration process as pain free as possible so as not to inflict additional unneeded stress.

I make myself personally available to all of my clients and I welcome and encourage all questions that may arise (there's never a dumb question).

HISTORY

I've been in the insurance restoration industry since 1981. Since then, I've  been in the homes of thousands of people who have just suffered disasters of all sizes. Some repairable and some not. Being exposed to those who have lost irreplaceable personal items has created an empathy that I bring with me to every part of the restoration process. Throughout the years, I've dealt with all types of damages - fire, water, smoke, soot, mold, lightening strikes... you name it. I've overseen the restoration of projects that range from a small water stain on a ceiling to a medical condominium facility with 50 unit owners and 37 insurance companies. I've been a participant in hundreds of insurance appraisals as an umpire or an appraiser for both insurance carriers and homeowners. Numerous times, I've been called upon as an expert witness for both homeowners and insurance companies to assist in the claim settlement process.

PROCESS

After suffering an unexpected disaster to your home or business, things can get complex. Our goal is to simplify the process and to help you through a difficult situation. We are not insurance adjusters. We are insurance restoration experts that work with your adjusters. We will write a comprehensive estimate to restore your home back to its original state. Our estimating program is one that is very familiar to the insurance industry, making the exchange of estimates as seamless as possible.

So let's say you've had a fire in your kitchen. Here's what would happen next...

  1. Submit the claim to your insurance company

  2. Call ACE Restoration

  3. We will schedule to meet with you at your earliest availability - this is a free service.

  4. We will discuss the damages before preparing an estimate. This is a critical step in preparing an accurate estimate because no one knows your house better than you do. If, after this meeting, you decide to have ACE take the next step, we will prepare an estimate. Meeting with an adjuster with a prepared estimate can expedite the reconstruction process.

  5. ACE will help navigate through the complexities of dealing with your mortgage company who will be included on any draft issued for the repairs.

  6. After reaching an agreement, we would begin the selection process. This is where you can begin picking out the materials for that kitchen you've been dreaming about. If you have any difficulties making your picks, we’ll put you in touch with our professional interior designer, free of charge.

  7. Building permits will be applied for and the reconstruction on your home can begin.

  8. An open line of communication is maintained throughout the entire process and on-site meetings will occur as often as needed. Leo is always available by phone, text or email.
